Wisdom Introduces New Executive Director Gerry RainingBird
Wisdom is excited to introduce our new Executive Director, Gerry RainingBird to our community of partners, friends and relatives. Gerry is a member of the Nehiyaw Tribe(Cree), and has lifelong ties with his traditions and cultural values.
Gerry has spent the last 29 years working with native communities from all parts of Indian Country. He has extensive experience working with American Indian communities and tribes in both rural and urban settings.
His experience includes program development, strategic planning, group training, budgeting, project coordination, and administrative leadership. He is very familiar with the diverse needs of Native peoples and plans to utilize that background to lead the expansion Wisdom’s services to strengthen family relationships, and their health and wellness, educational achievements, cultural arts, and economic development within Native communities.
We will be introducing Gerry to the community at our OMSI event on Monday evening, November 13th at 6pm. We hope you can join us.
